LIGTAS 3.0. UPDATE RELEASE NOTES NOW RELEASED

CEBU, Philippines - LIGTAS 3.0. is currently on its final stages of building and will be soon available for release.

LIGTAS Philippines released information that the LIGTAS App (known in Google Play as "Ligtas At Your Fingertips") will be released on December 15, 2021. The official update notes and official features, as released by the developer are as follows:

What's New?


"This update is the biggest update to the LIGTAS App to date. The app started covering 5 LGUs, and then ten, and then all 53 Local Government Units in Cebu. This big update requires time to perfect, to be in service to the Cebuano People," said the National Director of Ligtas Philippines, Ken Boltiador. "We are engaging in this big leap for our app, " The National Director further detailed, "because we are very much indebted to the Cebuano people. This is our way of showing our thanks to them".


Ligtas Philippines also extends its greatest gratitude to the Municipalities of Argao, Dalaguete, the City of Carcar, and the Cebu Provincial Police Office and the Police Regional Office 7 of the Philippine National Police for their support in making the latest update possible. 


LIGTAS At Your Fingertips is the mother project of which the LIGTAS App is its flagship product. The App is an Emergency Services Directory for Fire, Medical, Police, and Mental Health related Emergencies in Cebu. The App is available for Android Devices and will soon be available to iOS. The app was released on July 21, 2020 via Weebly and was downloadable on Weebly until the new Ligtas Philippines site (tagaligtasph.com) was released. The App is currently available for download on Google Play here  since September 2021.


LIGTAS is a Scout-led community safety initiative that promotes the safety, wellness, and cooperation of the members of the community. LIGTAS's flagship project, LIGTAS At Your Fingertips (or the creation of the LIGTAS App), is an made available for the community. The initiative also has other ongoing community safety initiatives such as Oplan Bayanihan, Youth Task Force Ligtas, the launch of LIGTAS Stories, and the Breath of Life Project. - @tagaLigtasPH
